Purchasing Ends in the Kuusamo Region – A Big Thank You to All Pickers and to Our Cloudberry Master Tapio!

Kuusamo, Taivalkoski, Posio, Kuolio, Kuloharju, Vasaraperä, Ranua – in the North, the last purchasing day will be Thursday, August 28, 2025. The cloudberry season has come to an end. While plenty of uncleaned blueberries have also been collected in the area, it is now time for Tapio to head toward regions buzzing with porcini mushrooms.

A huge thank you to all the pickers for the 2025 cloudberry and blueberry season! This year’s cloudberry season was unusual in many ways, but we still managed to secure a wonderful harvest. Thank you, thank you, thank you – you pickers did an excellent job! A special thanks also to our master Tapio, who has been responsible for the Cloudberry Truck.

It has been a pleasure to serve you pickers this season. We look forward to seeing you again next year. For now, our purchasing continues in Eastern Finland with mushrooms, blueberries and soon lingonberries.
