Boletus Categories

At Dalla Valle we divide Boletus mushrooms to three (3) different categories. With these few simple instructions You can easily perform the categorization by yourself in the forest. In case You are a beginner, we are more than happy to help You and give some more instructions at our service points.

FIRST CLASS (I):

Boletus has to be whole, solid and without worms. Pores has to be white.

SECOND CLASS (II):

Boletus has to be whole, solid and wormless. Pores has to be complete and yellowish or yellow.

THIRD CLASS (III):

Boletus has to be sliced in half. Pores has to be green. In case the pores are thick half of them has to be taken off from their edges.
