Buying Truck 1 Starts on Saturday, August 16
Buying Truck 1 will begin its route with the following purchasing stops: Nurmes, Juuka, Koli, Romppala, and Kontiolahti.
The truck will be buying bilberries (uncleaned and cleaned), chanterelles, porcini mushrooms, fresh russulas, dyer’s polypores, red and black currants, and gooseberries.
Bilberries are currently abundant along the route, and the upcoming rains will hopefully boost and speed up the mushroom season as well.
