Last Buying Day for Blueberries: Tue, August 25, 2026 – Except in the Kuusamo Area and Ranua

Blueberry buying is coming to an end. The last buying day in Eastern Finland (South and North Karelia and Savo) and Kainuu will be Tuesday, August 25, 2026. Only the Kuusamo area and Ranua in the north will continue buying uncleaned blueberries for the time being.

A huge thank you to all our blueberry pickers – you made incredible picking history this season. Your enthusiasm and activity have been amazing!

And now it is time to move on to lingonberries. Buying of uncleaned lingonberries will begin on Wednesday, August 26, 2026. All our buying points will start buying lingonberries, except for the Kuusamo area, Koillismaa, Ranua and the buying points in Kainuu. In these areas, we will wait a little longer for the lingonberries to ripen.
