Buying Stations Opening in Kainuu: Kajaani, Sotkamo, Ristijärvi, Otanmäki, Vuolijoki, Vaala and Paltamo
The 2026 harvesting season is getting underway in the Kainuu region. From Monday, 13 July 2026, we will begin purchasing at our buying stations in Kajaani, Sotkamo, Otanmäki, Vuolijoki, Vaala, Ristijärvi and Paltamo.
At the beginning of the season, we are purchasing:
- Uncleaned wild blueberries
- Cloudberries (Grade 1 and Grade 2)
- Porcini mushrooms
- Chanterelles
- Birch polypore
Later in the season, we will also purchase uncleaned lingonberries and cranberries.
Please remember to register as a collector before visiting our buying stations. Registration is completely free of charge and does not commit you to anything.
