Last Buying Day for Blueberries in the Kuusamo Area and Ranua – Sunday, August 30, 2026

The blueberry buying season is coming to an end in the north as well. It has been a busy and rewarding picking season.

In Kuusamo and along the Kuusamo area buying truck route, the last buying day for blueberries will be Sunday, August 30, 2026. The buying truck will make its final stops in Pudasjärvi, Taivalkoski and Kuolio on Saturday, and its final stops in Posio and Vasaraperä on Sunday.

The Ranua buying point will continue buying until 3 PM on Sunday, August 30, 2026.

After blueberry buying ends, the buying points will take a break while we wait for the lingonberries in the area to ripen.
