On 4 June 2026, the first porcini mushroom observations were reported in Eastern Finland, in North Karelia (Outokumpu) and South Karelia. A warm thank you to the finders for sharing the information and photos with us. These are exceptionally early finds. During our entire time in operation, we have never received porcini observations this early in the season.<\/p>\n<p>We are eagerly looking forward to the start of the harvest season and to seeing all our pickers, employees and customers again. Nature is clearly several weeks ahead this year in many ways, and we are following the situation with great interest as we wait for the picking season to begin.<\/p>\n<p>For now, we are focusing on preparations.<\/p>\n<p>So perhaps we will see each other sooner than expected!
