Some signs of Boletus growing in the area of Joensuu, the purchase of lingonberries starts

Some good news from the purchase point of Joensuu: on Tuesday 22.8. pickers brought newly grew Boletus mushrooms (form pine and spruce forests). So let´s keep on eye on the Boletus forests. We need some good rains in Eastern Finland and the Boletus will surely start a new growth. In the meanwhile the colour fo the past weeks has been yellow since there are plenty of chanterelles growing. In addition, you may find plenty of trumpet chanterelles in the forests.

Some news regarding the berries also: the purchase of cleaned lingonberries will start on Wednesday 23.8.2023. The purchase of uncleaned lingonberries will start also soon, but not quite yet. Instead the purchase of cleaned billberries will end  and the last purchase day for billberries is in Thursday 24.8.2023

We are ready to start the purchase of Boletus in the are of Vaala and Satakunta as soon as there is good signs of the growth. In East Finland our purchase are continuing normally. We wish you all very wellcome!
