Purchase points in North Karelia will be opened

There’s a good starting growth of Boletus in pine and spruce forests. Additionally, chantarelles have finally started to grow. The season 2023 is beginning for us and, thus, we are opening purchase points in the area of North Karelia and North Savo. In addition, the cloudberry season is starting at Kuusamo. We are so excited and can’t wait to see you.

We will be opening the following purchase points / purchase routes this week:

• On Tuesday 18.7.2023 will be opened purchase points at:
  Sotkuma
  Joensuu
  Outokumpu
  Lapinlahti
• On Wednesday 19.7.2023 will be opened:
  Route 1, purchase car stopping at: Nurmes – Juuka – Koli – Romppala – Kontiolahti
  Route 2, stopping at: Ylämylly – Hammaslahti – Rääkkylä – Liperi – Ylämylly
  Route 3, stopping at: Heinävaara – Kovero – Ilomantsi – Heinävaara
  Tohmajärvi
  Eno (purchase car 3 will stop at the beginning of the season)
  Lieksa
  Rautavaara
• On Thursday 20.7.2023 will start:
  Route 4, stopping at: Kesälahti – Kitee – Puhos
  Kuusamo

We’ve got a feeling that the start of this season could be quite busy. Let’s hope so! At least the weather forecasts are promissing for the growth of mushrooms and the signs and evidences are there. We will be starting the purchase by buying Boletus Edulis and Pinophilus (1st, 2nd, 3rd class), chantarelles, sheep polypore, northern milkcaps and cleaned billberries.
